Economic data from January 2018 shows that manufacturing production is up over the previous year at the fastest rate in a decade.
Manufacturing employment increased by 10,000 people and manufacturing payrolls increased by nearly 12,000 jobs, while the unemployment rate dropped to 6.4 percent.
